ATS Wednesday Challenge - A Sketch
This week's ATS DT Challenge is a sketch I made - you can check out the actual challenge (and see some fab DT samples while you're at it!) here on the ATS blog. Feel free to play along!
ALSO on the ATS blog today is our first Guest Designer. You can check out who it is HERE :o)
This morning I had a chance to sit down and create so I decided to play along with the challenge (I like how this sketch turned out so I felt like I HAD to use it LOL!):
I used the Amy's Boutique and Boutique Sentiments sets and *shock* *gasp* I DIDN'T paper piece the images for once!!
I thought I'd actually color in the images for once so I stamped several different ones from the set onto the white cardstock and used my Copics to color them in.
I used my Color Spritzer (SU!) and a black marker to splatter some ink onto the card here and there.
The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's new Offbeat collection - it's so fresh and funky - I love it!
The ribbon is May Arts, and the jumbo eyelets are from WeR Memory Keepers
.
I finished off the card with a little bit of piercing to draw focus to the sentiment and some machine stitching along the side and that was it! :)

What a cute sketch. I can't wait to go home and play! I love how versitale the set you designed is and can't wait to get it for myself.

Hi Amy ~ I just received my sets of your *AmyR Boutique Stamps* and can't wait to get them all inky :0) They are just so adorable and the *AmyR Sentiment* set is beyond perfect for all those non-traditional celebrations.
Your colour spritizing is phenomenal, however, when I try this technique, it turns out looking mucky and smeared. Maybe one of your brilliant tutorials would help .
Thanks Amy!!
